Wakacje we Francji - Holidays in France

I like holidays very much and I wait for them impatiently every year. From time to time I go to the countryside to my grandmother's place, or to the seaside. It is really great to take advantage of the fresh air and open space. This year, however, I went to France. I had wanted to go there for ages, and during these holidays my dreams finally came true.

We set off on 19th July from Poznan and we travelled through the Czech Republic, Austria and Italy. We arrived in Frejus, our destination, at night. We were exhausted, and the whole group went to their tents. During my stay on the Riviera we visited many interesting places. We went to the centre of Frejus to see the ruins of a Roman aqueduct and an amphitheatre. We took part in the International Fireworks Festival. The next day we went to the Grand Canyon George du Verdon. We had an excursion on an aquatic bicycle among caves and waterfalls there. We also went to Cannes and Saint-Tropez. According to me Cannes is a very beautiful and interesting city. I was walking along La Croisette boulevard, and then relaxed on a sunny beach. The atmosphere of that place really enchanted me. Next we went to Agay, where we went on an excursion in a ship with a glass bottom which allowed us to admire the flora and fauna of the underwater kingdom. In Monaco we saw there the palace of prince Rainier III and the tomb of his wife, Grace Kelly. During our next trip, we visited Monte Carlo with its famous casino - Monte Carlo and Hotel de Paris - one of the most luxurious hotels in France.

My stay in France was passionate and exciting and that is why I hope to go back there soon.
