Pieniądze to nie wszystko - Money is Not Everything

Nowadays more and more people take part in the rat race. All they really want is to achieve some position and to earn a lot of money. That is what they dream of. They seem to forget that money is not everything.

Money can buy a good education for you or your children. You can choose schools that offer interesting courses and use modern equipment. Also when you plan to set up your own business it is necessary to have some amount of money to invest. If you want to stay fit and healthy and have money you can afford a visit to a good doctor and a fashionable fitness club. Fast cars, spacious houses and a suitable life style can all be yours if you are rich.

There are, however, a few things in life that money will not buy and which are more important than just a bank account. Happiness, a successful family life or friendship depend on what people are like rather than on what they possess. Neither these nor good health can be bought for money. What some people expect from their job, for example, is not only a high salary, but first of all satisfaction, the opportunity of developing their skills and the company of interesting people.

To sum up, money helps make life easier but it is just a means and not a goal. And it is up to you what role you will allow it to play in your life.
